Fire Suppression Systems for Construction Machinery
Discover the benefits of our automatic extinguishing systems
Extinguishing systems for construction machinery
Fire is a great danger to man and machine. Thanks to our compact fire protection for construction machinery and equipment, you no longer have to worry about the fire hazard. Our Aerosol generators are characterized by their wide usability, reliability and long life.
We offer you reliable and inexpensive extinguishing systems for almost all construction machinery and equipment. With our range of different automatic fire extinguishers we can protect almost all machines, from small excavators to large tunnel boring machines.
Our fire protection is installed at the source of a possible fire, for example the engine or electrical installation, and immediately activated in the event of a fire. The fire is extinguished before the fire can spread. This protects your machine and only the cause of the fire needs to be replaced.
The fire detection is carried out autonomously via an analog detection system or an electrical sensor, depending on your wishes. The aerosol extinguishing agent that is created by means of a chemical reaction is not harmful to the machine, nor to nature and humans. Prevent fire and machine failure – choose RSL Fire extinguishing systems.
Our aerosol fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers for vehicles and marine are certified by TÜV NORD

How does aerosol work as extinguishing agent?
The fire is recognized by means of a fire detector, electrical ignition or fully autonomous analog ignition. Our Aerosol generator generates the aerosol and an endothermic reaction converts potassium hydrogen carbonate into potassium carbonate, chemically removing oxidizing substances from the combustion process and extinguishing the fire. At the same time, additional heat is extracted from the combustion process. This way the fire is extinguished in two ways and the chance of re-ignition is considerably reduced. During the extinguishing process, no oxygen is extracted and the residual potassium carbonate product is environmentally friendly and easy to clean up.
